Our Mentoring Program is designed to create one-to-one mentoring relationships between positive adult role models and youth facing challenges in their personal, social and/or academic lives. Dream Power is a long-term mentoring and leadership development program designed to empower girls to create and live their dreams. We work with girls from elementary school all the way up to high school graduation. Mentoring takes place in two forms: (1) Traditional one to one mentoring and (2) group mentoring through bi-weekly workshops.

Christmas Dreams by Slidely Slideshow
Every year, as the holidays approach, families around the world gather together to celebrate with festive decorations, feasts of all flavors and varieties and also an exchange of gifts. What’s very easy to forget during these times of feasting and celebrating is the fact that there are so many families in the world that are struggling just to put food on the table for the kids, holiday gifts and elaborate parties just aren’t in the picture for them. Every year iDream seeks to bring the magic of Christmas to poor children and their families through our Christmas Dreams Celebration. It is a time filled with food, fun, laughter and of course gifts for the whole family. Last year, we created a Christmas Store for our girls and provided food for their entire family. The girls and their family members were given shopping bags and gift boxes and had the opportunity to pick out whatever they like. We are thankful for the opportunity to be able to serve our youth in this manner. Our girls, of course, were very happy. One of our students, Kalisha stated: “I can’t believe I went Christmas shopping without money”. She was able to pick out items for herself and her family. The joy of giving. #TeamiDream
